Who Manages the Data
Personal data on this website are processed under the responsibility of the controller, which is the operator of chance-promo.cz. You may address the controller with questions about processing and with requests by which, as a data subject, you exercise your rights. Contact email: contact@chance-promo.cz.
Overview of Processed Data
Technical data. A visit involves processing your IP address, the browser, operating system and type of device you use, the time of access and the URLs of the pages you view. We need these to run and secure the website and for analytical purposes.
Cookies. An overview and an explanation of how they are used are given in the chapter on cookies.
Correspondence data. If you write to contact@chance-promo.cz, we process what the message contains, such as your email address, the content and any signature.
The chance-promo.cz website processes no more than its operation, security, analytics or the handling of enquiries require. It collects no data connected with gambling, identity verification or payment transactions and does not work with data of Chance players.
What the Processing Rests On
We process personal data in line with the GDPR, i.e. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Act No. 110/2019 Coll. and § 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. Each purpose has its own legal basis under Art. 6 GDPR:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) applies to analytical and marketing cookies. These are kept until consent is withdrawn or according to your browser settings.
- The controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) covers operating and securing the website. Such data are retained for 12 months at most, or as technical capabilities permit.
- Performance of a contract, or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f)) is the basis for handling enquiries sent by email. Enquiry data are kept while the enquiry is being dealt with, for no more than 6 months.
Data Recipients
We do not hand personal data over to unverified entities, and third parties receive them only where a legal basis exists. Access may be given to two groups of recipients connected with running the website and its analytics:
- Hosting and CDN: ensure that the pages operate, stay available and are secure.
- Web analytics: evaluates statistical traffic data that help optimise the website.
Providers are not named individually unless they can be publicly identified within the website.
Transfers to Countries Outside the EU/EEA
- If a service outside the EU/EEA is used, namely an analytics tool from a provider with its registered office beyond the EU and the EEA, your personal data go to third countries. Such a transfer then rests on standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR, which ensure adequate data protection.
- If no such service is used, we do not transfer data to third countries.
Rights Under the GDPR and Czech Law
The GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. grant you rights that can be divided according to what they concern.
Rights concerning the data themselves: access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR), correction of inaccuracies (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure or the “right to be forgotten” under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, and portability (Art. 20 GDPR) for data that we process automatically on the basis of consent or a contract.
Rights concerning the way of processing: restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR) and withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that preceded it.
Making a Request and Response Times
Where to write: the email address contact@chance-promo.cz.
When we reply: without undue delay, within 30 days of receiving the request at the latest.
When it may take longer: for complex requests or a higher number of them, the period can be extended by up to two further months, and you will be informed.
Supervision of Personal Data Protection
Compliance with personal data protection rules in the Czech Republic is overseen by the Office for Personal Data Protection. Should you feel that processing your data has led to a breach of the law, you may complain to it.
